Remove Stealth Rocks and they suddenly become more interesting. The most prevailent move type is probably fighting (after ground) and it is unfortunate that the ice types that could be neutral to that just suffer more because of Rocks.
Perhaps if they made ice type moves less available to water types? Why bother brining the weakness of a Walrien or Crygonial when you can just stick Ice Beam on Starmie and you're laughing. --- This is more intense than that time I forgot how to DO A BARREL ROLL! Just give them an Ice-like move that can make them effective walls. There could be a move that boosts Defense & Sp. Defense by two stages.
