There may be a new type for the next generation. Out of these 7, which would be the best? If you can find a better one, then just say "other" and specify.

Either Sound or Plasma are the only two plausible types for me

I kinda like the other types I heard before. (Love and Sound)

All those types in the list just sound like a different name for the types we already have, TBH

All those types seem terrible, but well, Dark type sounded stupid too.

Sound (as a type for a lot of sound-based moves, Whismur family, et cetera) is an idea that I'd heard, as was Light, which would be both weak to and super effective on Dark (obviously with other stuff), and would represent the "sacred magic" cliché category rather well:

Obvious Sound moves/Pokémon:
Everything in Soundproof that's normal
Whismur line

Obvious Light moves/Pokémon:
Arceus
Judgement
Sacred Fire (tough to say, because... well, it's sacred, but it's also fire)

And if they are types, there can be more, there just aren't that many yet. That didn't keep them from doing Dark and Steel though. (stares at conspicuous lack of Dark types obtainable in FRLG pre-ending)

Space/Cosmic, Speed, Sound, or love. I think those are the best ideas for new types.

All but one of the options seem like they are at least vaguely already represented.

Plasma - No real counterpart
Wood - grass
Mud - ground/water
Nuclear - poison would work
Dust - ground/rock
Sand - ground/rock
Cloud - flying

*Other (please specifiy):

I have no idea, how about.....
Pudding pop pokemon so Bill Cosby could rap about them some more.

Still voting for Light to make some Normals like Togekiss and Arceus better.
