Does Synchronize affect the natures of legendary pokemon in this game?

Wondering if it would be any easier to get the Regi trio or the Pixie trio with the correct natures.

The only game where Sync didn't affect stationary Pokémon is Emerald. Excluding the rest of the 3rd gen games where it didn't have an out-of-battle effect.
