How do you feel about Challenge/Assist mode being post game/Ir unlock only

I think it's dumb as all hell.

Right up there with no Elite 4 in PWT, no Iris in Champion circuit, and no triples Battle Subway

"Or have friends"

How many times are people going to complain about this before they realize that interacting with real people was one of the founding principles of the game?

Trading to get all the pokemon is one thing, but dude should you really have to ir link (not even wifi wtf) to unlock a different difficulty from the beginning?

That's just asinine

I mean when you get down to it the whole version exclusive thing was just a ploy to get kids to have their parents buy both games, but jesus do we have to extend that to forcing you to get both versions to unlock the different difficulties?

That's just beyond asinine

It doesn't bother me that much. I don't think the game is hard as it is to warrant an easy mode.

The thing about interacting being a founding principle of the game... I understand and completely agree it is, but that works way better in Japan. Not complaining, just saying.

Doesn't work in this situation.

Let's say two friends get the game. Does the second friend wait 20 hours for the first friend to complete the game just so he begin playing hard mode (Or even dumber, wait to play easy mode)?

**** easy mode

You shouldn't have to beat the game once or link with someone else to play a pokemon game where the final few gym leaders have more than 3 pokemon.
