Pokemon Black Version 2

Oh lord no; by the numbers remakes with disappointing arrangements, needlessly bulky and garish sprites, a nonsensical battle tower (If you want a reason to call RS better specifically, here's one), and no attempt at balancing the Elite 4 in light of TM changes. HGSS celebrated their source material, FRLG were straight remakes with bad art direction. The Sevii Islands were wonderful, though.

Yes, Salamence, Flygon, Metagross, Latis, Gardevoir, and the starters are good. (Not gonna list the obvious Ubers) But that doesn't make every other Poke instantly good.

You list Pokemon like you know which Pokemon are good.

Listing pokes from tiers is not what I meant. Tiers can go to hell.

I'm talking about design, style, etc. Not battle worth.

This doesn't mean I hate the metagame, but I most certainly will not like pokes based on stats.

Design wise Gen 3 was lacking too.

I like Hoenn, Hoenn Pokemon and Hoenn music much more than I like Kanto or it's Pokemon/music. So no.

Also, how did FR/LG have garish/bulky art, whatever "bulky" means in this context?

No, but there was a Trainer Tower.

I only ever remember getting great balls as the prize from that tower. Looking on bulbapedia, apparently I can get up-grades.
Still, that tower was a joke.
