Does anybody else think FR/LG>>RSE?

Oh lord no; by the numbers remakes with disappointing arrangements, needlessly bulky and garish sprites, a nonsensical battle tower (If you want a reason to call RS better specifically, here's one), and no attempt at balancing the Elite 4 in light of TM changes. HGSS celebrated their source material, FRLG were straight remakes with bad art direction. The Sevii Islands were wonderful, though.

What do you mean by bolded? Almost all Pokemon used by the Kanto E4 in FR/LG had new and somewhat more understandable movelists that in the original games.

Take Bruno's Machamp for example.

Original:-
Leer
Focus Energy
Fissure
Submission

FR/LG:-
Bulk Up
Cross Chop
Scary Face
Rock Tomb

I love LG/FR a lot more than RSE. I used to like RS but these days, I think it's meh. Though, Emerald is definitely an improvement over RS.

So for me, it's...

LG/FR <<< E <<<<<< RS

No Secret Bases, can't evolve Eevee into Umbreon or Espeon.

I was really referring to the change in the moves TMs teach weakening your team (Thunderbolt becomes Shock Wave, etc.) while strengthening theirs, and thus turning the Elite 4 into the major, grind-worthy speed bump they were originally intended to be. Not necessarily a bad thing, kust have too many memories of getting railed mercilessly by Lorelei, is all.

Yes. FRLG's nostalgic blast melted my face :) I've never played Emerald, but I was never fond with the Hoenn games. They're good, but not something I'd play over and over.

Absolutely not. While FR/LG at least attempted to have a good production value, it didn't measure up with Hoenn. However, final verdict:

Emerald>>FR/LG>R/S
