Pokemon Black Version 2

It seems like a waste to have them again in the remakes only to abandon them completely later on. I enjoy the design style that they used for a lot of them and a few have special effects which haven't been re-invented into a new ball yet.

Yes, but a few have neat designs. Some people like catching pokemon in pokeballs that match their design. This includes legendaries. For example, for steel types or any industrial/artificial-looking pokemon I'll use timer balls. Anything else I'll use luxury balls because they just look so f****** cool.

Let's look at them, shall we?

Level Ball: This is actually better than the Nest Ball, since the catch rate goes up if you use a high-level Pokémon.
Lure Ball: This can be used on Dratini and Dragonair, who aren't Water-types. If it was included in B/W/B2/W2, it could've also been used on Dragonite and Stunfisk. I will admit, though, that it is outclassed by the Dive Ball (but that can be remedied by increasing the Lure Ball's catch rate).
Friend Ball: It is a lot like the Luxury Ball, but it's still useful.
Moon Ball: It has very limited usage, but that's because stone evolutions are far too rare.
Heavy Ball: This one is terrific. There are quite a few Pokémon that the Heavy Ball works great on.
Fast Ball: HG/SS already made this one have less restricted usage.
Love Ball: Here's an easy fix: Make it so that the bonus doesn't depend on the Pokémon's species.

I agree. These balls should get good battle animations too.

Friend ball starts the affection at 200 i think, in a way it's better than Luxury ball, and you can spam Return right away instead of waiting affection to build up.
