I prefer to catch them as what I see them as.
i'm really anal about it too, though i disregard it if I get a good nature
I know the Keyblade didn't choose me, and I don't care.
I'm proud to be a small part of something bigger-- the people it did choose.
I want to say don't care...
In my eyes (and I'm pretty sure, in everyone else's eyes) I assume the gender of each Pokemon through their appearance.
The only ones that can go both ways easy is probably the starters and some run of the mills, but other than that, it's mostly through their appearance.
That's how goddamminity damn good that god damn game is. - AC (GCN)
I don't care, but as far as my team goes, it has to be males. Unless I decide to use a pokemon that looks feminine, in which case, that pokemon has to be a female. And, of course, if the pokemon is genderless, it's genderless. Duh.
Depends on the Pokemon. Kangaskhan, for example: I always make sure to have a male Kangaskhan, while I always make sure to have a female Tauros, and so on.
Evacuate? In our moment of triumph? I think you overestimate their chances.
Yes, cheat why don't you.
Aww, I lost to SuperNiceDog, Winner of the Rivalry Rumble Guru Contest
Depends on the Pokemon, some I really dun care, others I'm more partial to one gender but will accept either and other Pokemon I won't accept anything other than my preference.
Example, Starters generlly fall under the first, while with Volcarona I prefer a female one, but am okay with a male one and Gardevoir and Ninetales I accept nothing other than female.

Officially faved Ninetales everywhere, R - Burning Executive
My preferences tend to be random for most Pokemon, but I prefer males because the majority of Pokemon aren't particularly feminine,

Back in Diamond and Pearl, I would only have Pokemon on my team that matched the gender of the character I played, whether it was Lucas in Diamond, and Dawn in Pearl. But I swear to god, when I tried to breed perfect teams in those games, I would get strong opposite genders and it drove me mad s*** insane, so since platinum, that tradition was thrown away
Let me make this crystal clear; Ruby and Sapphire remakes are coming this generation (gen 5). Get the hell over it.
Male Pokemon, they can pass their stats / natures / moves onto other Pokemon in their Egg groups.
By their looks, I could list many of them:
