Masuda's Message Hints for an "Evolution" for Pokemon in 2013.

#1 hope major reboot. Changing stats/movepool/evolution requirements. And even some subtle design changes. Cell shading or smoother sprites.

#1 fear "3d" polygons like in pokedex 3d pro through out whole handheld game. Leaving things looking smooth, lifeless blobs.

#1 likely thing, more of the same without major "evolution"

regardless I'll still buy and play.

ALL ABOARD THE GEN 6 HYPE TRAIN CHOO CHOO.

Fun fact: Masuda is going to appear on Smash soon... The last two times he's appeared there at the beginning of the year, they were to show Zoroark's silhouette and announce BW2/Kyurem's forms.

An evolution? I can only think of two things.

Either a major change to evolutions maybe more than 3 levels of evolution?

Or a console adventure on the WiiU which I would hate given that I have no desire to support Nintendos horrible consoles.

I hope they put all the regions into one game, plus a new one. Seeing as each region takes about 50 hours to complete (at least for me, with the minimal amount of side quests), it would be nice and long.

I also think that in order to avoid being hilariously over leveled, you should take control of a new trainer each region, with a new team. They could all meet up and share an inventory during the climax, possibly even exchange Pokemon or switch teams on the go. Maybe even go back to each region for grinding once you're done with it. Kind of like what Pokemon Special did… (at least for the first three parts)

The only reason to buy a Wii U.

If they can deliver a refined pokemon adventure for consoles (none of that collosium crap), link and trade with DS, cross compatibility with DS and Wii U systems, and include most of the pokemon with an actual plotline and maybe bump it up to a teen rating then it's on. There is so much they can do.
