I thought water/electric from the trailer but secondary dark type makes more sense

Grass/Fighting and Fire/Psychic I could see, but Froakie strikes me as Water/Ice. Doesn't exactly hurt that it fired off an Ice Beam in the trailer. Then again, I said the same thing about Oshawott... Well, I guess we'll see!

Probably Chespin. I was going to choose the frog, but I chose the water starter the last two gens and I want to change things up.

Really? I was actually gonna reverse the Grass and Water hybrids you mentioned, but I guess we will see. For me it's honestly a struggle between Froakie and Fennekin. Although with my love for Water types, Ill probably end up going with Froakie.

Why are they named like this ? I don't get the play on words for them.
