Zekrom/Reshiram are only 9/10 feet tall?

Evolutionary instincts say: If it's taller than you...RUN!

You can tell in the cut scenes that they are not that big.

Well, we have only other legendary pokemon to compare them to in the 3D scenes. Their sprites, however, occupy four tiles, as opposed to the human's one. Such a scale would also put them at around four times the height of Latios, a one tile Pokemon.

Since when does width equal height? :/

The anime even incorrectly portrayed Groudon as being as tall as a skyscraper when it's only as tall as Arbok is long: 11'06".

Wait. What?

. . . What?

It was . . . I didn't . . .

What!

IT DOES NOT COMPUTE.

Mind blown to epic proportions.

When I was going through the pokedex I noticed that Serperior was technically taller than either Reshiram or Zekrom by a few inches. The idea of a Serperior standing on the very tip of its tail infront of them and being just slightly taller amused me.

The lady who asks you to show her a 17+ ft. tall pokemon, I think to myself "No problem, I'm carrying a few." When she gives me the disappointed response, I look them up and find out they're about half that height. I thought these things were supposed to be enormous legendary dragons, their in-game sprites make them look huge. Large for a child, sure, but only marginally taller than an above-average adult.

this makes me wonder, what is there that is 17+ feet tall?

Well if you see N riding them around it's obvious they're not very big. He's on their back riding them like a horse.

I think the anime depictions are the ones that should be considered accurate. Height, weights, and dex entries are all over the place with contradictions/oddities that sound like they were just BS'd one day during work.

Honestly that lines up perfectly with 3rd Edition Dungeons & Dragons, doesn't it? Humans, Medium-sized creatures (4 ft.-8 ft.) take up one space, where as Large creatures (8 ft.-16 ft.) take up four spaces. Reshiram and Zekrom would, thus, be considered "Large" creatures, hence why they take up a 22 set of tiles.

Well when you are talking abou something Legendary you expect it to be pretty big.But in the games we have legendaries that are like a medium-sized dog! That isn't right!
