It's kind of good thing that you guys don't care for natures or EV's/IV's, it ruins everything in-game. You'll spend an hour soft resetting your game just trying to get the right nature for your starter. You might also catch a lot of the same Pokemon for your team for its nature and use the best one. And the only reason people want those kind of Pokemon on the trade board is because they're most likely going to use them on a team or for breeding the right Pokemon with good IV's

Just go fo one that either increases their best stat OR reduces their worst stat or even neutral.
