I posted a topic a while back noting that I would be doing an NFE run in HeartGold but now that I got the team thought out, I feel like some type coverage is missing. Is there anything worth replacing besides the starter?

I'd go with Eevee over Togepi. More specially bulky, similar physical bulk and far better offensive stats (especially with adaptability) and speed.
Only thing Togepi really has going for it is para-flinching with serene grace and even that'd take forever due to its miserable offensive stats.
