Just bred a (near) perfect petlil!

So I started breeding pokemon yesterday, 4th petlil I hatched is modest (everstoned of course) and straight 30-31's. Chlorophyl too.

no rng, no ar, wow that feels awesome

I know this post is a little pointless, but I am so happy for the great success I had to say something somewhere

Congrats. I've tried to tell people it doesn't take that long anymore to breed but few listen. I'm filling my 14th box of ev trained pokes I've bred now.

I got a good vulpix too, only thing wrong is it has 14 in sp. d, it seems pretty simple though.

Get a female with nature you want via everstone breed, then breed with high iv male (typically N's if any of them can), take best IV female of batch, breed it instead. I usually have something very strong after 12-15 hatches. I thought I was gonna spend all week breeding my team but its all moving along smoothly.

I have a set of flawless Japanese dittos with different natures I use. They are amazing at getting great parents for dw pokes or for the non dw pokes themselves.

I used pokesav years ago to clone and edit the natures and ivs of a legit Japanese ditto I had. They are hacked but the babies are as legit as any. I have adamant, jolly, modest, timid, calm, careful, impish and bold.

Nope. If the whole reason you hacked the Ditto was so its perfect stats could be passed down, then when its perfect stats are passed down, simple logic would dictate that this happened as a direct result of hacking.

The game generated the offspring, yes, and there's still a large amount of luck and randomization involved, but the fact still remains that you got better results than using non-hacked parents. It's kind of like using cloned Rare Candies or Master Balls to save some extra time in catching or training a Pokemon you want. The results are still basically the same, but you got there through illegitimate means.

I'm not saying this is necessarily a bad thing, but don't claim they're legit if they really aren't.

Hahaha. You consider catching catching pokes in cloned master balls and using cloned rare candies hacked? There is no difference. And the babies are legit. The parents might not of been but the game always hatches legit babies. It's just a time saver. It doesn't make them hacked.

If anything goes to save time, why not just make the end result with pokesav? You'd save more time, and after all, it could be done legitimately.

I haven't used pokesav since platinum. Back then I hacked all my pokes but the game got very boring that way. SS I started catching them all legit and 5th gen I started breeding my own competitive pokes. Those dittos never need to be changed and they make it very easy to get 3-4 flawless stats.

Now i have 14 boxes of ev trained pokes I've bred myself and most likely wont stop till I fill every box with them. Why don't I just hack the finished product? I want the game to last an personally I enjoy breeding them myself.
