I've always wanted to play it, but I skipped it. It didn't seem all that amazing. Now I really want to do a replay of Gen IV. Since, I've done Colosseum. XD. and some of LeafGreen. But Pearl & Diamond are both pretty damn boring...
Platinum is the best game in the series. Craziest bad guy ever=Cyrus. --- I'm calling you an elitist, but I'm just gonna go ahead and leave a snooty remark as I go. I am wutz good SS FC: 4598 9525 2106 Black 0991 3491 6739
Platinum added quite a bit. Enough, in fact, that I would label it tied with BW1 as best Pokemon storyline. Granted, the Pokemon games aren't exactly know for their riveting storytelling, Platinum does a good job with it in my opinion. --- White FC: 4727 7422 4019 Platinum FC: 2063 5286 9480
Best Pokemon game is Platinum? I assumed it was Emerald.
Opinions aside(and I'm about to give another one, lol) Platinum is definitely worth playing. Better than BW, imo, except for BW1's exp system, which is just so common sense it should have been in RSE to begin with. --- Currently playing: DragonQuest IV Chapters of the Choosen(DS, complete), Pokemon LeafGreen(JPN) (blitz living Dex run 283/386, Street Fighter 3(Xbox360)
Platinum is perhaps the one fourth-generation game that is not recommendable. The game has far more flaws than Diamond/Pearl, creating an overall inferior experience. Be thankful that HeartGold/SoulSilver base their assets directly on Diamond/Pearl aside from inclusion of a copy of Platinum's Battle Frontier, and then make improvements from there. Trust me, Platinum would have been far better had it come after HeartGold/SoulSilver and included its improvements... --- I am a die hard Pokemon fan to the most, including the traditional hate of Yu-Gi-Oh.
Uh, how would you even think a game with flaws such as the "acid rain" effect was a superior experience? Trust me, Platinum would only be even worth considering a superior experience if it came after HeartGold/SoulSilver and not before, partly because Platinum's numerous flaws would then mostly not exist. Saying you "fixed" my statement when you, in fact, completely broke it? Don't make me laugh... --- I am a die hard Pokemon fan to the most, including the traditional hate of Yu-Gi-Oh.
