Definitely a better suggesion than the "Bash them over the head with it" idea. Especially now that TM's are reusable.

Yup. Dont think it would work too well if you bashed a 2000lb pokemon in the head with a CD.

Not that it matters, but in FR/LG, didn't the TM data get absorbed by placing it on the pokemon's forehead?

Yeah, AFAIK so far, that's the official visual explanation. Again, given how pokemon themselves apparently can be converted into data, that makes enough sense too.

The OP is going off the assumption that the trainer has no idea how to use the TM properly and instead tries to apply it directly to the forehead. Apply directly to the forehead. Apply directly to the forehead.
