$10,000 for Pokemon Box Ruby and Sapphire

So I was just on Amazon and I saw that someone is trying to sell a new version of Pokémon Box for 10 grand. I really hope no one is dumb enough to actually pay that.

Believe me, someone will be. It's inevitable.

$10K for a console-based PC? Hoenn babies are ridiculous!

It would be cheaper to import a European GC/Wii, get a TV that can support PAL output, and a power converter, and the EU copy of the game... though I'm sure modern TVs support PAL output.

Or you can just buy the EU game and softmod your Wii to bypass the region restriction.

Of course, you cannot forget the illegal methods... though the GC emulator cannot connect to a GBA emulator for any Pokémon games... so do it on a console if you want to store stuff.

I find Box very convenient... beats the heck out of trading an entire collection from one game to another. You can transfer it all in about 5 minutes if you have 100 Pokémon in the dex.

Even then, it's much less effort and price just to get a save file dumped and transfer that way :)

convenient yes, but at 10 grand no one will be able to get their moneys/monies (I'm not sure which plural form of money to use) worth, unless someone loves playing gen 3 and that is all they play.

It's not worth that much. You can find copies for ~$120ish? I don't know.

that seems reasonable to me since it was limited and rare but this guy wanting $10,000 is ridiculous
