shortened season?

Is there an option to play a 48 or 50 game season? I won't play a full 82 game season at this point because it is unrealistic....will there be an update?

well? anybody know...I know previous installments let you play a season less than 82 games.

You can play three different lengths of a season; 82, 5X, and 29 but I'm not sure if every mode has those options.

GM mode does not have this option. 82 games or 0.

So is GM essentially offline season mode?

There is a Be A GM mode and a separate Season mode.

How do you select different season length? I don't see any options....just picked the game up today.

Hopefully EA will do an update by the 19th with updated shortened season schedule and rosters based on opening day.

like hell....EA won't do it, they won't want to pay the money to do that....but of course, they'll put in goalie fights....I remember having ht option to play shortened seasons in previous NHL games, but of course I can't find it in this one.
