I haven't played any of the modern NHL's, but back in the day I played the stuffing out of NHL 94, 95 and 96. Like every day for hours for a year. So I decided to jump back in years later, and I appreciate that there is an NHL 94 control scheme, but what's with the passing? In NHL 94, you'd pass to the nearest player on your team, and it was fast. The passing in 13 feels like dinky little drop passes every time, and the player invariably gives the puck away, like it seems to impossible to aim. What am I doing wrong? --- "Paper disproves Spock"

Hold down the pass button for more power? That's been the theme since 09... --- Now playing: Dark Souls, GW2, NHL13, BF3

That could very well be it. Never played 09. The last one I remember dabbling in was probably 02. Then I played some 2K from Sega. --- "Paper disproves Spock"
