I have the Wii U version. It does support 3D. It is not frame packed though, your choices are inficolor (Which actually works on the gamepad too, that's kind of neat), top-bottom, or side by side.

It looks pretty good side by side and I didn't notice a huge loss in resolution (Even though it was halved).

Question, does side by side 3d work on the gamepad? Or is the gamepad inficolor only?

It seems like a pretty good port so far.

You can't do side by side on the gamepad as there is no way that the images could merge and sync with a pair of glasses.

Is the 3D better than the PS3 version? (which is sort of crap)

I haven't use the 3d for the PS3 for this game because I don't own one but the 3D on the Wii U is better than the 3D in Revelations on the 360. Revelations looked really weird when playing in 3D and this game looks fine. Hope that helps

Sorry to burst bubbles, as I had stated I really wanted this to be the definitive version, but even the 3d is a bust. I can't comment on the pc or ps3, but the 360 had excellent 3d, and offered both the cruddy inficolor glasses type, as well as the superior frame packing 3d.

Sadly, the wii u version only offers side to side, top to bottom, and the cruddy inficolor. The difference between the frame packing and side/side and top/bottom is immense, as essentially, with frame packing the game resolution is dropped 50%, while with the side to side and top to bottom, it goes to 25%. The 360 version looks amazing in 3d, but the wii u version looks abysmal in 3d.

I thought the wii u was fully capable of 3d, so this is another one of those decisions I just don't understand. I'm really disgusted at how this port was handled. Seriously, the wii u is supposed to have more horsepower, and it gets the laziest port possible....oh well, at least the 360 version is good, and there is a patch coming this week that should fix all the problems (i saw the fix list and its massive).
