I've had no luck finding a match online. I've looked at the leaderboards and matches are happening. I just can't seem to connect to any.

Anyone have some voodoo sequence of actions that had led to them connecting to a match?

Had the same problem, make sure your NAT IS OPEN. You need to make a static IP on your wii u. Then open router settings in your browser. I just moved the wii you into the DMZ(outside firewall). And now I join games all the time, don't get me wrong, there is still a brief wait or some failed connections. But now it works!

I have DMZ enabled as well but my NAT shows up as unknown. I can get into games fine but it has a hell of a time finding games. I just usually join a friends game

Even nuber question, how can you see your NAT type in this game?

You can see your NAT type on one of the menus that you cycle through in the multiplayer portion.

I've been having some issues myself. Saturday (when I first started playing online for this game) was perfectly fine. However, tonight (Sunday), I can't find a single match. Is this due to my IP being possibly dynamic and changing or because of inactivity of players on a Sunday night?
