Air pollution...and getting contracts with neighbors

I'm an idiot and don't know the best way to prevent air pollution or lower it.... can anyone help? As well as maybe getting neighboring cities to share water etc I forgot how to do that. thanks

Build your high pollution buildings near the edge of the map with the wind blowing it off the map. Best thing I can think of. Is what I did in the beta anyways.

i dont know about water and such (still cant get up to gamestop to pick up my pre-order) but i think planting trees and maybe parks will help with air pollution

I enjoy having my mansion on the hill that overlooks the rest of my city, as the factories choke the residential neighborhoods with smog.

Helps the plebs know their place.
