I hadn't really played any except that one too, and I found this pretty easy to jump into. There's a bit of trial and error involved in some aspects of it, but I found the information you need to know is a lot easier to decipher than in the old SNES SimCity. There are a lot of different views/overlays you can use that show you what's what in a flash. The SNES version was so fun. And the Iphone version ( which is htink is simply a port of it)
Its pretty much the same, but a little more dynamic.
I.e you play around with residential zones and build them a certain way to attract a certain kind of sim and play around with taxes to keep out certain types of busieness etc etc. Very fun, but buggy. Give it another month and things should pick up.
Wish I still had the SNES version. It's proper slow but a really good representation of the game. Wasn't there also a port of SimCity 2000 on the SNES? --- http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c6/lvl54spacemonkey/Tink.gif Le 360 generale. http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/2000325-xbox-360-general-social
Alright! Thanks people, you boosted my confidence...I'm on a mac so I'll have to wait till it ports over to buy the game. I look forward to playing though. Until then I'll stick to my SNES cart lol. --- Listen to classic rock.
