i have a population of 15,000 but the commerical bar isnt even colored in any way to get this to go up? ive been placing parks and everything in a lot of areas lately. And my industrial is starting to die since no one is working even though the game is telling that more factories would benefit well if i were to add them.
1) low tech factory work is for low income people (so if you don't have college or university your work force is low income demand) and commercial is for medium-high income people
2) parks should only be used to increase land value, one of the tip says that - workers gain happiness from spending cash, but they can go to park instead. (so avoid cheap parks, they counter effect it)
3) commercial to residence ratio is about 1:7 to be effective (from my experience)
4) you can also increase commercial demand from tourist, but it cost as much money to attract them than to get extra tax increase from commercial
