Challenge for anyone: Connect a road to this ferry terminal

Very simple and straight forward. The region is Viridian Woods. The city is Tosca Cliffs. All I am requesting is that someone find a way to connect a road to the Ferry Terminal. You may place it anywhere on the coast. The only requirement is that you do not use any mods or anything to alter the region. Here is an example of the problem.

I have placed the terminal on each location (to my knowledge) and been unable to connect any roads, thus making the only connection out of this city (besides the highway) invalid.

I should note it doesn't matter whether you do this in sandbox or not. I chose sandbox so you don't need department of transport etc, as the terrain is identical in both modes. You can test this in under 5 minutes this way.

Thats funny, yeah I tried everything and I couldn't build a road.

Just a thought, try placing the road first? Another question, does the land stay teraformed after you build it? If so build it, then delete it, then build it just to the right or left and the grade might work?

Don't you miss the days of being able to save before experimenting with its placement? It's crap like this with the new game that pisses me off. "Oh, I have to plunk down $100,000+ for this recycling depot? Hmmm doesn't fit too well. Let me bulldoze and redesign my industrial district. Crap, still doesn't fit nicely unless I bulldoze my large fire station too. Well, let's bite the bullet. Crap, it fits now but not enough room for its expansions. Let me reload the city and try something different... oh"

Seriously, EA. Srsly.

^^ that is one thing that really upsets me.

I place numerous buildings in areas, even large areas, and still some portions of expansion at times cannot be added unless I remodel my entire zone.

My best city has these issues and will need complete remodelling to fit in the main buildings.

City maps are way way too small

Yeah, I understand that they want you to think carefully about your decisions, but i feel like it's too unforgiving sometimes

one big thing i don't like: i place a big building around and there's a block around it. But I can't bulldoze the street to the side of it? I can understand that it needs to be parked on one side, but why can't i bulldoze the streets on the other two sides?

Have you tried making a ferry before? There is a road already at it and it doesn't have a snap point to any road.

What I did was start with the angled section of road to flatten the slope a little and then brought the straighter section of road down just a little bit away from the ferry's road and that kinda pulled the ferry's road out to meet the created road.

Edit: I found it easier to just try and draw a capital "A" with the roads, with the ferry's road in the middle, and trying to pull the ferry's road out to meet the created road. After plopping down the roads, you can delete the excess and redraw them however you like.
