^ A few months you say. Pretty impressive for a game that's not even been out a few months yet.

Technically.... Released over 2 months ago. That is a few.

Anti-piracy measure. No one has successfully pirated this game. And I've seen people who were waiting for the crack to come out say things like "Screw it, I'll just buy it"

So EA got their money that they probably wouldn't have otherwise.

The game was cracked a few months ago.....

No, it wasn't. What is available now is a hack to play the game offline. But you need to own a copy of the game for it to work, and even then you can't switch cities in a region or save your game. Any website you find with a 'crack' is a lie, that will take you through filling out endless surveys and then the download link will fail.

I promise you, this game hasn't been cracked to be playable by pirates.

I think the potential buyers they scared away for good with their always-online crap outweighs the people who just caved and bought it. Not to mention all the stupid design choices they made like small city size and no terraforming.

Small city sizes, was without a doubt, a choice made with DLC in mind(cause its ****ing EA). Scaring off people didnt come from the DRM directly, it came from piss-poor server capacity. They tried to be a minimalist and screwed over their consumer base, plenty of companies have done it.

A bad carpenter blames his tools... or in this case, bad consumers blame a tool, rather than the carpenter for terrible implementation.

Technically a few is 3 or more. 2 is only a couple, YOUR arguement is invalid.
Once its been out for 3, you're post will be correct. :)

Who cares if the game hasn't been cracked. The game is crap. Neither pirates or SimCity fans want to play it. Thankfully I waited for reviews (as everyone should for any EA game these days) and I did not buy it, nor will I ever unless they patch to remove the always on-line, add terraforming and increase the city size. If they can't do that (or won't) I'll just keep spending my money elsewhere.

I'm glad your opinion differs from mine. What a boring place this world would be if it didn't.

What was about how long the crack was out ended to be how long the game was out. The offline crack was only about here for a month from sometime April when it became available to the public. So technacially, since u were talking about the crack, and not the game, u are wrong. But since u pointed out more than one is a few, u will be right in a few weeks
P.S. :D and :P
