It was satire... since when is uninverted the preferred option for video games? That was my point.

And YOU might not have a problem with flight controls, but I can confirm that there are players that do switch the flight controls to uninverted because they feel more comfortable. And guess what? If you go into the options in BF3, you can uninvert just the aircraft controls.

Should DICE have said "Suck it up, this is how real aircrafts fly. Get used to it n00b."? No, they added the option to switch it if it makes you comfortable. How are people not getting this? I don't agree with the TC, I can play the game just fine, but the exclusion of inverted controls is just dumb and probably an oversight.

Okay, I wasn't sure if maybe the "pro" FPS community mainly used inverted or not. And like I said, I get that it's a standard option, but is it really that hard to adapt to? I wasn't trying to brag, I just don't see how it's soooo hard to adapt to the controls. Whatever, to each their own I guess.

It wasn't hard at all for me and I've been playing inverted since Perfect Dark and that was what, in 2000? It definitely not hard, the TC is definitely over-exaggerating with it being unplayable, but the amount of people who are defending this as if it's not important is strange to me. There was no reason not to include it and there is no defense to that.

Well, it's the 360 Gamefaqs board. That's the problem right there. It's like youtube comments, but in message board form.

Yeah but at least youtube comments are funny sometimes. This is just depressing.

The game may well pack a good campaign experience but I'll never know it. If the game doesn't allow the player to do something as simple as defeat the first zombie in a training area without forcing them to use a screwdriver as a hammer that campaign experience isn't going to happen.

Well, that's your loss. It's a good adventure game and I had no problem with what you described. In fact, I prefer it to the usual QTE because it allowed me to focus on what was happening on-screen, instead of anxiously awaiting the next button prompt, so it was a plus for me. You're nitpicking something so minor that it's almost as if you're just looking for any reason to hate the game. I mean, look at the reviews; they're all positive.

We all know that reviews are bought anyway.

If all reviews were positive this discussion board wouldn't exist.

Why would I waste my time "nitpicking" any game.

Campaign mechanics were used for combat mechanics. It doesn't work. You can't fight a forest fire with a slingshot.

Like I said, there's probably a good campaign in there somewhere but the use of campaign oriented controls in a close combat scenario don't work.

If there weren't probs with the game we wouldn't be here.

You're right. All reviews are bought and this game is completely unplayable. It's definitely not you. Nope, not at all. Seriously, if you dislike the game so much, if it's SO unplayable and horrid, then why are you even posting here? Usually, when I come across a game that's as bad as you seem to think this one is, I put it down and move on to something more interesting. So, why are you here again? And when I said all the reviews are positive, I was (obviously) referring to the ones listed in the review section.

lol i can only play regular especially in FPS's. up is up and down is down and adapting is a pain for me. it's even worse when you get semi-used to inverted, then you find out you can switch... then i can barely play at all lol
