I just finished UYA in challenge mode for the first time, and right at the end of the battle (and visible again after the ending scene played) there was a pop-up message - like the ones usually for Continue Points - saying "Paradox ERR". The game didn't glitch or anything - just continued on to the credits. Has this happened to anyone else?
The only reason I could think for it happening, is that my ship was very low on health when I beat the boss, so maybe I got hit by a missile and died after the boss did? --- RocketJess, blasting off again! PSN: iscah_rambles
You don't die when your ship is blown up in the final boss battle anyway, you just land on the ground and then have to find your way to another ship. --- http://imgh.us - Free Image Hosting. http://karma.hardcore-tm.com - GameFAQs Karma Calculator.
Download, retail, or emulation? Many games trap for such differences, so that's a place to start.
Timewarp and see if you can reproduce it. Could be an anomaly imbedded in the save file during or subsequent to its creation. --- Guides and other contributions: http://www.esque.com/slr/gamefaqs/ FFX, FFXII, KH, KH Re:CoM, KH2, Okage: Shadow King, Secret Agent Clank
I got to the Insomniac Museum last night for the first time and that seems a bit glitchy too. Quite a few of the "exhibit marker" signs don't actually have the floor pad under them to display the information. (Is that normal for the PS3 version? Maybe I should get out the PS2...)
Anyway, the really interesting thing is that since I can't save in the Museum and I wanted to make a second version of my save, I went into the Saved Data Utility to copy it... and it says my location is "Paradox ERR - Burbank". In-game it's announcing "Insomniac Museum" just fine.
I beat the final boss again - finished on 10 health again - and it's still displaying the Paradox message.
Come to think of it, I also had a small glitch in the second game - collecting moonstones on Grelbin. The "Moonstones Remaining" message said zero even though I'd only collected about half of them. The desert crystals didn't have the same problem.
I'm playing a disc-based PAL Region 4 version. The disc isn't scratched. --- RocketJess, blasting off again! PSN: iscah_rambles
I've had this come up everytime I've finished the campaign. On the developer commentary they said that the HD versions are taking a second longer to load than the PS2 versions as result things like that are briefly visible.
