Thinking about rolling a new character but want to do something a bit unusual. It doesn't have to be a powerhouse, in fact I would prefer a character with a disadvantage but is still fun to roleplay. My first thought is a chaotic evil halfling barbarian but wanted to see if anyone else has any different and fun suggestions.

Hmm...I'd say you can go with just about anything since you have a wide variety of party members who can fill just about any role. Only disadvantage is halflings get a penalty to strength, but I'd say go for it.

Other 'weird' or unusual characters to try:
Half-Orc Cleric (doubly so for a Lawful Good Morninglord of Lathander)
Elven Barbarian (an oxymoron unless you're RPing a Wild Elf)
Gnome Fighter/Illusionist (although it's quite feasible given the popularity of F/M)
Vixen, Black Canary, Star Sapphire, Circe, Steel and The Huntress for Injustice: Gods Among Us
Poison Ivy for Injustice: Gods Among Us DLC
