Try out my first course please~ "Upward Spiral"

#1BBA322Posted 11/7/2012 5:43:06 AM
It's my first course and my first LBP related game I've played, but not my first kart racer (MK Wii) Just thought I'd see if I could get some traffic to it, since it seemed like waiting on 4 people to actually play and experience the course in full (not through free roam) wasn't happening. I did find you could adjust the number of AI players, so now it's just 2 needed.

Also, is there any really active forums for this game?

I don't know, I've not messed with any of that.

On another note, I created a second race course and would like to see if I could get some racers on it as well. Maybe this link will help?

Thanks and sure thing, go for it if you feel they're worthy of it~
I was going to do that eventually myself once I bother buying an HDMI cable for my PS3, being I've only ever recorded from my 360 and never needed to buy one after getting a new TV and HD PVR way back, being I have few games. Although, I'll probably do a full recording of my creating a race course and make it a speed-create video or something like that I guess. If I get around to that anyhow,

Also, how does the que function work? I'm new to this LBP stuff and haven't used a que function like that site is using.

basically, you can queue anything on that site, and if you then go to "Community" on LBP Karting, there's an option "My Queue" which shows all the levels you've put in queue via the website, or via LBPK itself..

so yeah, you just put anything there you wish to play at a later time..

alright, I played both, they're not bad.

the one with the tubes has some issues though.. first of all the jump pads are a bit too big, so it's hard to avoid going into the tubes, and second of all, once you're in the tubes, it's kind of glitchy i guess..You'll see if you watch the video I made.. but I do think it's a brilliant idea.

Anyways, if you want to see the vids, my channel link is in my signature, they should be up soon.

Oh, I gotcha. So it's basically a "To race" list for us.

Thanks again for those uploads. Pipe Blitz took quite some editing to even be able to get into those pipes and be able to at least move forward once you've landed. Part of the reason why I put those boards up around it so you wouldn't get stuck as much trying to even enter it. I'll get to fixing that jump pad size.

Well, I got around to putting in quite a bit of time to make changes on Pipe Blitz. I don't know if I made it better or not, but I've added more detail and hopefully squished a good bit of the bugs/glitches that plagued it before as well as those that crept up since I've been updating it. Those hamster tubes as they call them are a massive pain to work with if they're not on ground, which is what kept casing most of my problems. That and trying to stay in bounds while having part of the course above ground.

So, if anyone could give it a test run now that it has had an overhaul, I'd be very thankful.
