Is there any way to use karts you made in create mode in story mode for instance?

Uh... I kinda doubt it, but I haven't messed with it yet. I suppose if you're able to save it under "My Karts" in your pop-it and open it in your pod, you should be able to drive it anywhere.

Pretty sure you can, just don't remember how. I think it involves capturing it as an object or an option in the gadget to save it as one. I think i did it in the beta but my memory is fuzzy (was gonna try this tonight, I'll let you know)

yeah the karts u make after u save a new kart are selectible on the screen where u pick your kart it should be pretty easy to find. i have krated 3 diffrent karts and 5 sakboys and i switch between them all the time in storm mode

The karts you make in create mode? Not the ones from the pod. I know you can save and switch custom karts, but I'm talking about the ones created from items with a cockpit and wheelbase.

Been experimenting and sadly you cannot use objects in create mode, sorry guess i thought wrong. They're just for transformations

Thought so, but nice to have some verification. Nice to be able to edit everyones karts on your own track, but it would be cool to take a completely custom kart to other tracks to race.

i think the reason why they didn't allow it was people could have some giant thing the size of a track length and plow through everything obstructing everyones views
