How do i get the steamboat willie hat without co-op?

I'm at the beginning of the game and the prima guide said to have Oswald throw Mickey on top well i don't have a second Numbchuck. i do have a second Wii remote but that's no good without a Numbchuck and somebody else.

So there must be a way to get it without Co-op right?
