I like Fifa for the social aspect of clubs, but the gameplay of Pro Evo is simply far more true to real life and fluid.
The gameplay is good, but sometimes the passing feels awkward, like the power meter has nothing to do with the pass, and the player animation while passing is sometimes weird not realistic, but overall it's a good game, I still switch between it and FIFA.
I bought FIFA 11, PES 12, and then FIFA 13 this year. Each game has their positives and negatives, but overall I think you can't lose in either direction.
Personally, I'm a FIFA guy for a few reasons.
1) the massive amount of teams that PES just can't match. 2) the licenses - sorry, I dont want to play Merseyside Red, I want to play Liverpool. Yes, I know you change the name, but I just paid 60 bucks, I want to play. 3) FIFA is generally a more well known game and allows for more options to play against people 4) the unlockables are better IMO, and I dont have to figure out who Danish keeper Shirawtel is 5) I like the EA Creation Center
Things I wish I could do: 1) Being able to edit uniforms is fun when I feel like doing it 2) The Databases on the internet for PES are pretty impressive, which would be impossible in FIFA due to the massive number of players.
lol Legendary players (whose names take nomore then 1min to change) is better then an extra seasons game, classic kits for 9 teams, financial takeover crap. lol likes being able to edit stuff, doesn't want to change the name of Liverpool 'cos he just wants to play lol PES has better features in-game, then EA could pull out of their ass for a web app lol all the things you wish for are in pes lol 90% of teams that are in FIFA I have never played as or even viewed, who gives a f*** about the Saudi league lol
