EkstrakPosted 11/3/2012 6:52:52 PM | Been out all night, so didn't watch the game. Though, you can guess my surprise from seeing us 1-0 up when I checked the Sky Sports app at kickoff time, to then seeing we lost 3-1. It's been a long time coming, though, it's just a shame that it was at home, it was Conte's first game back (I think), we were just shy of 50, and that it was at the hands of Inter. From what I understand, it was the usual crap, wasted chances, no out-and-out striker leading the line, etc. the need for a world class striker in January continues to become ever more apparent. I'm hoping this spurns the team on though, performances have been s*** as of late, and only a loss would change the mentality. I think the last time we went through a rough patch, we drew like, 5/6 games or something, and then went on to win the next 10 or so, so we need a similar turnaround like that. We play Nords***nameland next, so if we can get some strikers on the scoresheet, absolutely blitz them, and avoid from continuing to break our own record for most consecutive Euro draws, we should recover ok.
I ain't mad, just a shame that it ended today. Though losing to Inter churns up more desire to come back winning then losing to say, Catania, does IMO. --- Mafewww is the plumb to my pudding <3 |
