Losing powers when switching upgrade paths?

I decided to switch me series 2 Ignitor's upgrade path, lost all the powers in the original path when swtiching back, and was forced to rebuy them. Has anyone else had this happen?

From what i have heard when you switch paths and then go back you have to re-buy all the attacks from that path again. I hope this helps sorry if it's not the answer you were hoping to hear.

Unfortunately, yeah. That's what happens. You can switch at will without losing the complete tree by a reset like you had to do in the first game but you have to rebuy the upgrades, though.

Still better than a hard reset like the original, though.

Is that one time only? Does anyone know if you switch BACK to a previous path where you already purchased the upgrades if you have to buy them again? I can understand if you have to buy every upgrade once... but every time you switch?

That, I'm not sure. But in the first one, since you had to reset completely to switch paths, you had to re-buy even if you switched then switched back again. So I wouldn't be surprised if it's the same here.

Would be damn cool if you could buy both paths and switch at will without re-upgrading, though. :D

It does?! Holy hell, all the more reason to buy S2 figures, then! That's awesome. Thanks for the pointers. :D
