Does Namco own Baten Kaitos?

Sure, anyone from that series getting in here is about .000001%, but is it possible? Doesn't Nintendo own Monolith Soft now? Or was Xenoblade and their upcoming project (BK3, maybe?) being on Nintendo systems a coincidence?

Baten Kaitos is still Namco's Intellectual Property. Nintendo may have acquired Monolith the developers, but IP is rarely ever gained from acquiring developer studios. I remember how Monolith wanted to make a Baten Kaitos for the DS but it was said to still be Namco's call (we all know how that turned out).

Actually, I highly doubt we all know how that turned out, seeing as you are one of the select few others I know who've heard of/played the game(s).
