I've started downloading Crysis 3 from Origin.
Then I read the system requirements which explicitly says that the game requires DX11.
I have a Nvidia GTX260(DX10) gfx card and it ran Crysis 2 smoothly even in hardcore video settings.
So, can anyone confirm if the game runs on a DX10 card aswell?
If not, its a ridiculous step from EA---cutting on so many potential gamers with DX10 cards and then blame it on piracy!

I'm sorry buddy, but you won't even be able to start the game (you get an error message saying you need a DX11 GPU). Extremely stupid move by Crytek, that's for sure. Even if you have a fantastic rig, as long as it does not have a DX11-capable graphics card, you're screwed.

Crysis 2 shipped with only directx 9 but had directx11 and high-res textures patched in months later. Now they have dx11, but no directx 9.

Doesn't matter that it's beta, the game requires a DX11 card. I'm not going to be "that guy", but DX11 cards aren't too expensive if you don't get a high end card.
