1) Yes, this is how I played Crysis 2 single player (unless they took this function out for some unknown reason for Crysis 3)
I'm pretty sure almost all games support the 360 controller on pc now.

680m isn't that mobile? I did not know they made 680m. Anyway back to the question. You do not need to run sli or a 690 to max out Crysis 3. You can max it out with a single 670 and 680. Now the question is how much fps you going to get? 680 is avg 45-60 and 670 30-45
