This game looks like it could've been done on the original DS

Judging from the screen shots, it doesn't look much better that the first NSMB.

"Judging from the screenshots"

Well there's your problem right there... no wait. That quote was too long.

That's better.

Three screenshots and nothing else is too early to start judging the game.

The only legit complaints.... if you could even call them legit... is the fact that the same "Level Tropes" appear to e returning. Aesthetics.

Maybe you think the screenshots look jaggy? Super Mario 3D Land is pretty Jaggy too if you ask me. But the screenshots definitely look way better than the original NSMB DS to me. Not as pretty as NSMBW. But close.
Complaints have a purpose. One voice becomes one hundred becomes one thousand. Enough common complaints among a crowd is sure to reach it's intended target.

^^^ Winning.
Mercy is not a weakness. Its the strength that separates you from them.

I guess I did mostly mean the level design. I'm sure it will look better, especially in motion.

New Super Mario Bros wii has incredibly boring graphics that just dull the experience. There's absolutely nothing interesting going on the the backdrop that sparks a curiosity about the world that you play in.

This game looks to be heading that direction too. But, as another poster said, its just too early to confirm that.
