Everything about this game points to Nintendo having run out of ideas:
Two NSMB titles being developed at the same time? Check.
Yet another title capitalizing on SMB3 nostalgia? Check.
Second 3DS Mario game featuring the Raccoon Leaf? Check.
Lazy game and unoriginal title? Check.
No innovation whatsoever? Check.
Lame central gimmick that expands upon an aspect people never cared about in 2D Mario (coin collecting)? Check.
It features the overrated Koopalings, which means it will probable have boring and repetitive boss battles? Check.

I honestly can't think of a single thing about this game to be excited about it.


I am sure you will end buying it.

Probably just gamefly it. I refuse to spend money on these generic lazy Mario games. If this were something original and refreshing, like when say SMB3 or World came out, then yeah Id buy it.

If Nintendo wont put some real creative effort it, then they dont need to get my money.

In my head, I'm going to discuss all of the problems I have with newer Mario games, such as very easy difficulty, boring boss fights, overusing SMB3's athletic theme (of course not for this game, but I hear it A LOT and it ruins the nostalgia factor for me), and more.

Then when it comes out, I'm going to inevitably buy it. >.>
