This game is still like SMB3,but there are things that are from SMW. For example,Renzor,3-up moons on the star coins in star-world,etc.

Metroid Zero Mission and Super Metroid are some of the finest 2D games ever made and are the best in the series.
Metroid Fusion is pretty cool I guess.

Secret worlds gotten to via secret exits, Reznor, and the Moon Coin design were only the things in this that reminded me of SMW.

But at least it's something. NSMBU's World Map is pretty similar as well.

I really hope so. I miss all the switch palaces and bactracking instead of the straight linearity nowtimes. SMW was such a long game because of that, it literally took months to go 100% on it. And all the secrets....I don't recall a Mario that had more, some were insanely difficult to find...anyone remember the level where you had to suicide Yoshi at the end to make the jump across to the alternate level goal? It took me like a whole week to figure that out. ahh memories.
