NSMB2 wins by default because every 3D Mario game I played sucked.

NSMB2 is fun and all but between that and 3D land, the best choice in my opinion is 3D land.

Which is why the average review scores for those games are so much lower, right? Because they suck?

Protip: "I didn't like them" and "They suck" are two very different things and the distinction is important to know.

3D Land felt bland to me. NSMB2 was more of the same, but at least it was fun.

3D Land.

Both are great, both are mostly easy, but 3D Land is more original, more innovative and generally feels like a dream to play in my opinion.

Also lasts longer in Single Player to complete 100%.
