Got drafted 17th to the Mavs. They were horrible through the first 14 games at 7-7 and at the bottom of the West. So i request a Trade...days later im traded to my #1 choice the Lakers. They are now 13-3 and i went from a 65 overall to a 87 through the discounted 10,000 VC pack. Im wicked good for a 18-year old Rookie point guard and will improve...im just loving this now.
Did anyone else do something like this?? --- Xbox Live GT: Galactico15 **I post from Ipod so if I make spelling errors I'm sorry.**
Nope. I prefer being a prolific player on an underdog team to being just another all-star on a team of all-stars. The latter is too boring. --- Memphis Tigers, Go Big Blue! Not changing this signature until the Memphis Grizzlies win the NBA Championship. YAGB
Sounds excellent TC. In current My Career I plan on getting drafted by some crappy team, rising to superstar, maybe even best in the league status and then getting "lured" away to the Lakers. --- im...im sorry but... do you think the past tense of fight is thought? - Wolf_J_Flywheel I am the paragon of humanity. Good for u man. I am also set in mycareer. Drafted to the wizards as a pg, requested a trade to the hornet, went to the mavs instead, requested a trade again to the hornets, and i finally got there w/ shawn marion for a 1st rd draft pick :) --- I am a fraud
Do you feel any sense of accomplishment? Wouldn't it have been much more satisfying taking that Mavs team to the top of the conference? How does being a irrelevant player on a superstar laden team give you any gratification? They would've done that without you. I'm going to take my Raptors team to the Finals and break the cycle of superstars bailing on Toronto and know that if it had not been for me none of it would've ever happened. Quit being a Lebron and earn your rings like a man. --- I finally get to change my sig! The New York Knicks are no longer laughing stocks! 2012-13 Atlantic Division Champs! 11/20/12
