So what's the deal with Crash and Spyro?

They both seemed to have strong roots on the Playstation. But then they kinda........went elsewhere. I'm assuming they'd be considered 3rd party characters then?

Would love to see Spyro in this.

Both were always owned by Universal Interactive.

I would love to see classic Crash and Spyro in this. Universal might be willing, too, since neither are very popular anymore...

True, but back then I'd boot up Crash and it'd be like

They haven't been exclusive since the PS1 era.

Dunno about Spryo, (never liked it anyway) but Crash has to be in this game. He was the mascot back in the day. Him and Lara. There's no way these two aren't in the game. I'd actually be willing to bet on this.

However, if Crash does make it in, he better look like his original design and not the one they made recently...

And haven't been relevant at all this generation.

Sony may have sought to include them in this game, as it is entirely possible that Activision was one of the few 3rd party companies willing to license out characters, but who knows.
