Abe's mind control would be pretty dope, especially if it ends in a glorious explosion.

Me too, Abe himself could simply use the other characters in his move list. For example having a fly suit slig as his recovery move similar to Snake's cypher used in brawl, he could have rocks/grenades as a long ranged attack. Has his knock down slap which might fit in too. My mind has more ideas for super moves than normals though, like a super where he'd pull a lever to drop something on the screen, transform into shryukull or perhaps get a herd of wild Scrabs and Paramites to swarm the opponents.
