Darts fighting style in LoD is pretty standard for a swordsman, but he's got dragoon powers with the element of fire so he would be a versatile sword-wielding character in PSASBR which would be very nice to have in the game. The other reason is his personality. It isn't brooding like other RPG Main Characters, Dart is a rather serious and caring guy. He's got the balls to take on whatever comes his way and a compassion for his friends and those in need.
