I know there are FF fans who will get offended by me saying this, but SE will NEVER restore FF to it's former greatness. Sales are starting to slip for the FF games due to lack of interest since FF13 and 14 damaged the brand, Im sure FF15 will only do the same.

So does it matter who the rep is in PlayStation All-Stars? I'd say SE should consider themselves luck if Sony even *wants* FF in PSA

That's not the reason why there won't be an FF rep. Yes the games now suck more than a vacuum but the older games are still really good and people enjoy the characters. Parrapa hadn't had a game in years but he was selected because he's a beloved character.

Crash and Spyro are a dying series. Most characters people want from the PS era actually are dead series. Jak and Daxter? Dead series. Twisted Metal? Dying series. I am sure you get the point.

This is a terrible topic.

Jak and Daxter is not dead, it's finished.

Crash and Spyro can be considered finished as well and no one associates the new stuff with the PSone era games.

Final Fantasy is dying due to lack of sales and because it frankly sucks.

Currently anticipating: Pokemon Black 2/White 2, Resident Evil 6, New Super Mario Bros. 2, GoW: Ascension and All-Stars Battle Royal.

FF14 has a new director who actually listens to the players and seems to know what a tolerable game is. As long as there's more fresh blood like that when the old, arrogant higher-ups start stepping down and dying, I think FF can be saved.

Pretty much the same way I feel about George Lucas and Rick McCallum dying.
