She looks like any other anime-ish character with a plastic one piece on that has been bedazzled. She looks quite stupid IMO, not unique.

you should know the difference of anime and japanese artstyle character for example
japanese art character:

Her game has been out in Japan for months now and Kat actually first appeared in a 2008 concept trailer for Gravity Daze. It was originally going to be a PS3 game. Kat's actually been around for longer than you think. Combine that with her potential fit a unique move set and an opportunity to advertise the Vita, along with her game, and you've got a great choice for a character.

Boom. Topic over.

It has nothing to do with age. Parappa and Fat Princess certainly aren't all stars, even though they've been around for a bit. Characters should get in because they're good, and could work well in the game. It would be boring if all the characters were all stars.

Parappa is pretty all-star for sony...he has 2 games as far as im concerned (maybe more and idk), possibly some ports and even an anime in japan and he has been around since the beginning of playstation up till PS2, and almost everyone still knows who he is..

They said at the panel that they want to include representatives from each Sony console.

If you can think of a better character to represent the Vita, I'd like to hear it.

The only other character from Vita with any chance at all is maybe Frobisher, who doesn't really strike me as able to be in a fighting game. Kat has been known since 2008 as well anyway.

yeah that totally did it for me:p But I`m pretty sure the Fat Princess deserves a spot in the game for sure. I don`t have the statistics to back it up or anything but I thought that Fat Princess did pretty well for itself on PSN.
