Keep in mind some of these players are very high level Brawl players (especially Dabuz) that are respected by the community. In other words, their comments are sure to be reflected in the overall competitive community.

So there certainly can be peace and even collaboration between Brawl and Psasbr despite what countless fanboys on both sides here would have you believe.

Smashboards is the largest dedicated Smash community. I'm glad they are already showing signs of accepting PSASBR.

From what I've gathered they were giving out these codes (given to them to the developers) in order to get solid feedback from a particular fanbase (in this case Smash). I was told this information would be eventually forwarded to the devs.

So good job on Superbot's part, they clearly value the input of Smash players since they have experience in this genre.

Well SuperBot is smart for one. They know they'll get good feedback like this. Its also a nice change of pace to see some real Smash fans just being normal and playing the game to give critisicm rather than blindly bashing it like the fanboys out there

Only dabuz posted anything relevant, the rest were just talking about glitches.

Thanks for the info tho, was good to read another opinion on the game.

Well keep in mind SuperBot and the TC of that topic made it clear that's a major thing they want to hear about.

You don't want glitches being in the full release do you? So I'd say that's pretty relevant.

And I'd bookmark that topic if I were you. It was just made like yesterday, there's probably going to be tons more responses in no time.

Oh and btw I won acess to a beta code as well (they were giving them out on the Smash stream mentioned).

I've only played two matches thus far though. It takes a while to connect if at all. But once it connects they tend to be near lag free.

Anyway, I'll have a full analysis when I play enough matches.

What do you think so far, blaze? I'm curious in your opinion moreso than most because you and I had a few heated spats back in the day about whether the core gameplay would be good or not. : D

If I haven't mentioned Kat in my post, it's because she is so beautiful and precarious that I just wanted to show her how much she means to me.

Tagging this. Im too sleepy to read it all right now, but I plan on reading it tomorrow.

The general consensus seems to be that the online is very lag free, this is a good sign

There's too much I don't understand right now to make a judgement. There's no way someone could play this for 10 mins and have any idea what's going on. This explains why so many first impressions were lacking in detail.

Right now I'm guessing you need 10 hours of play at least. But I can tell you two things about it that people have been asking no one has answered:

-short hopping is in the game, not sure why people said it was not
-air dodges are like Melee, once you air dodge, you are in a free fall state until you hit the ground, so potentially they can be punished on landing

So then the next question is, is there wavedashing?

Heihachi is already confirmed to have wavedashing. There are videos of it.

I think therefore, it's safe to assume others won't have it or they wouldn't have specifically talked about it for Heihachi only. But if you can tell me the inputs I'll try it out.

Also my PS3 just crashed while in a match lol. It was pretty much a 1 vs 1. The other two players weren't moving, they either got disconnected right away or it only paired me up with one person.

Oh something else no one has mentioned before:

-you can change direction while in the air (the way your facing) over and over really quickly as many times as you want. In Smash this could usually only be done with b-move reversals or specific attacks like Marth's Back air
