Drop through floors
Directional Button Up and Control Stick Up to jump as well and a Special Jump.
Dodge in place like Super Smash Bros.

Down + X
Also only one of the things you're talking about is really a controls issue. So basically this is about having a different way to jump

Theres really no need for a special jump as theres no recovering like smash bros. But I agree on those points you made.
